Support - DG DOCS App Setup
Grant Admin Consent (DG DOCS Web Service)
DG DOCS needs tenant-wide admin consent so it can securely read your organisation’s DG DOCS configuration in Microsoft 365.
Who can do this:
A Microsoft 365 Global Admin (or a role with equivalent app consent permissions).
Prerequisite:
Have your Azure AD Tenant ID handy.
Step 1 — Open the admin consent URL
Replace {tenantID} with your organisation’s Tenant ID and open the URL in a browser while signed in as a Global Admin:

https://login.microsoftonline.com/{tenantID}/adminconsent?client_id=90ec3656-5c96-4445-a0a4-e39da8247433&redirect_uri=https://portal.azure.com/
Example:
If your tenant ID is fada8dd2-a996-4ca4-868f-48c31fd9843a, use:

https://login.microsoftonline.com/fada8dd2-a996-4ca4-868f-48c31fd9843a/adminconsent?client_id=90ec3656-5c96-4445-a0a4-e39da8247433&redirect_uri=https://portal.azure.com/
Step 2 — Review & accept
When prompted, review the requested permissions and click Accept to grant consent for your tenant.
How to confirm it worked
-
You should see a confirmation screen indicating consent was granted.
-
In Azure Portal → Entra ID → Enterprise applications, search for DG DOCS Web Service and verify its status is Enabled with admin consent granted.
Common issues & tips
-
Access denied / need admin approval: Ensure you’re signed in as a Global Admin.
-
Wrong tenant: Double-check you replaced {tenantID} correctly.
-
Multiple accounts: Use a private/incognito window to avoid signing in with the wrong account.
Security note
DG DOCS only requests permissions required to retrieve and apply your DG DOCS configuration for Outlook→SharePoint/Teams document storage. No end-user mailbox content is accessed during the consent process.
